Short answer: buy a Dell Latitude if you want the widest choice and the lowest entry price — from AED 749 in the UAE. Buy an HP EliteBook if you want a newer machine with a brighter, more premium feel and you are spending AED 1,300 or more. Both are corporate-grade lines built to survive years of daily use; neither is a consumer laptop dressed up as one.
The honest difference between the two lines
Dell Latitude and HP EliteBook are the laptops large companies and government departments buy by the thousand. They are specified for a three-to-five year service life, which is exactly why they make sense as certified pre-owned machines: the build quality was paid for by the first owner, and you get it at a fraction of the original price.
Where they differ is in how the ranges are laid out:
- Dell Latitude splits into the 5000 series (the workhorse: bigger screens, more ports, lower price) and the 7000 series (thin, light, built for travel). That gives you a ladder from AED 749 all the way up to AED 1,799.
- HP EliteBook is a tighter range. The 800 series dominates: the 830 is the 13-inch, the 840 is the 14-inch, the 850 is the 15-inch. In our stock these are newer generations, so they start higher — from AED 1,299.

Pick by what you actually do
Budget is the deciding factor → Dell Latitude
Nothing in the EliteBook range reaches AED 749. If you need three or four machines for a small office and the total matters more than the badge, Latitude is the answer. Start at laptops under AED 1,000.
You are on video calls all day → HP EliteBook 840 G8
The newer EliteBook generations have better webcams and microphones than the older Latitude generations in the same price band. If your day is Teams and Zoom, that difference is noticeable every hour.
You want a touchscreen that folds → Dell, by default
Our 2-in-1 stock is all Dell: the Latitude 5310 2-in-1 from AED 1,599, the 5320 2-in-1 from AED 1,549 and the 7420 2-in-1 from AED 1,599. See them all under touchscreen laptops.
You need real processing power → look past both badges
For heavy work the chip matters more than the brand. The Latitude 5421 with an 11th-gen H-series Core i7 from AED 1,799, or a mobile workstation like the Precision 3551 from AED 2,149, will outrun any standard EliteBook or Latitude. Browse Core i7 and above.
What does not change, whichever you pick
Every unit passes the 50-point quality check, ships with battery health measured at 80% or above, carries the 12-month NewAsNew Assured warranty on hardware defects, and can be returned within 14 days with free pickup if it is unused and complete. Delivery is free across the UAE.
Frequently asked questions
Which brand lasts longer, Dell or HP?
At this tier, neither has a meaningful advantage. Both lines are tested to the same kind of corporate durability standards. Condition, battery health and how the previous owner treated the machine matter far more than the logo — which is why we test every unit individually instead of generalising by brand.
Are spare parts available in the UAE?
Yes. Latitude and EliteBook are the two most common business laptop families in the region, so screens, keyboards and batteries are widely available. That is a real argument for buying either of these over a rare consumer model.
Do they come with Windows installed?
Yes, each machine is set up and tested before dispatch as part of the 50-point check.
Can I buy several for my company?
Yes. Tell us the quantity and the specification you need through business and bulk orders, and we will tell you what we can source and when.
Is the price the final price?
Yes. Prices shown are in AED and delivery is free across the UAE.
