If a product is on our store, it has earned its place. Only 2–3 in 10 devices submitted to us qualify for listing — every one passes our full 50-point inspection. That is why our stock is limited and our quality stays consistent.

Frequently asked questions
Is this HP EliteBook 840 G8 refurbished or brand new?
It is Grade A Certified refurbished, professionally inspected, thoroughly cleaned, running 100% original components, and tested across our 50-point quality check. It is not new, and we never present it as new.
What is the difference between the EliteBook 840 G7 and G8?
The G8 is the newer generation. It runs an 11th Gen Intel Core i5 with Intel Iris Xe graphics, Wi-Fi 6 and Thunderbolt 4, versus the G7 with its 10th Gen processor, Intel UHD graphics and Thunderbolt 3. The G8 is the better choice for integrated graphics performance and future-proofing, while the G7 with its i7 processor suits raw CPU-heavy work.
How much RAM and storage should I choose?
8GB suits everyday browsing, MS Office and video calls. 16GB is the comfortable choice for heavy multitasking, programming or light photo and video editing. 32GB is for power users running virtual machines, 4K editing or large datasets. For storage, 256GB works if you keep files in the cloud, 512GB gives comfortable headroom, and 1TB suits large local files. RAM and SSD cannot be upgraded later on most units, so choose slightly ahead of your needs.
What is the battery health of this refurbished laptop?
Battery health is tested and verified on every Grade A unit during our 50-point QC. We test every battery and never inflate the number.
Is NewAsNew a genuine and trustworthy store?
Yes. In the UAE, NewAsNew is operated by Greenheart International Trading FZE LLC, licensed by the Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone Authority (licence no. 4427618.01). Our sister company, NextG Serve Private Limited, runs newasnew.in in India. Every listing is a real unit that has passed our 50-point inspection, and we never buy or inflate reviews.
What if it is not as described, can I return it?
Yes. We offer 14-day easy returns. If the device is not as described, we arrange pickup and issue a refund or replacement, with refunds processed within 48 hours.
Buying this laptop in the UAE
- 12-month NewAsNew Assured Warranty, honoured in the UAE and India. Claim it here, or when you are back home. As far as we know, no other refurbished laptop seller covers two countries.
- Pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Checkout is secured by our UAE payment provider — we never see your card number. Delivery across all seven emirates.
- Any country mobile number works. New to the UAE and still on an Indian, Pakistani or Filipino SIM? You can order, and we send photos to that WhatsApp number.
- 50-point inspection before it is listed. Battery health measured at 80%+, not described in adjectives. Ask and we will send photos and a video of the exact unit.
- 14-day returns. If the laptop is not what you expected, send it back.
