Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we do with your personal information. It is written to comply with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the UAE PDPL).

Who we are

newasnew.ae is operated by Greenheart International Trading FZE LLC, a company licensed in SPC Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, licence number 4427618.01, registered at Business Centre, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.

What we collect

When you buy from us: name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number, order history and payment method type.

We do not store your full card number. Card payments are processed directly by our licensed payment provider, and the full card details never reach our servers.

When you use the website: pages visited, time on site, how you arrived, device type, browser, and approximate location derived from your IP address, and items placed in your cart.

When you contact us: the content of your messages on WhatsApp, email, phone or the contact form, and any photos or documents you send us for a warranty or return claim.

Why we use it

  • Processing and delivering your order — performance of our contract with you
  • Handling returns, refunds and warranty claims — performance of our contract with you
  • Customer support — performance of our contract with you
  • Keeping accounting and tax records — legal obligation
  • Fraud prevention and site security — our legitimate interests
  • Marketing messages and offers — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time
  • Improving the website and our products — our legitimate interests

Marketing — you are in control

We only send marketing emails or WhatsApp messages if you have actively opted in. We do not use pre-ticked boxes, and we do not treat buying from us as consent to be marketed to.

You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, replying STOP to any WhatsApp message, or emailing privacy@newasnew.ae. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect your orders, your warranty, or your ability to buy from us.

Who we share it with

  • Delivery companies — your name, address and phone number, so they can deliver
  • Payment providers — to process your payment securely
  • Our IT and hosting providers — who store data on our behalf under contract
  • Government authorities — only where the law requires it

We do not sell your personal data. We never have and we will not.

Sending data outside the UAE

Some of our service providers operate outside the UAE. Where your personal data is transferred abroad, we ensure it is protected to a standard equivalent to UAE law, either by transferring only to countries with adequate protection, or through contractual safeguards with the recipient.

Our group has a related operation in India. Where information is shared for customer support or order fulfilment purposes, it is covered by a data processing agreement and used only for the purposes described in this policy.

How long we keep it

  • Order and transaction records — 5 years, as required by UAE law
  • Customer support conversations — 2 years
  • Marketing consent records — until you withdraw consent, plus 1 year
  • Website analytics — 26 months

Your rights

Under the UAE PDPL you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it where we have no legal reason to keep it, receive a copy in a portable format, object to processing including for marketing, and restrict processing while a dispute is resolved.

To exercise any of these, email privacy@newasnew.ae. We respond within 30 days. There is no charge.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the UAE Data Office.

Cookies

We use cookies to make the site work, remember your cart, and understand how the site is used.

Essential cookies are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off. Analytics and marketing cookies are optional, and we only set them if you accept. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer.

Keeping your data safe

We use encrypted connections, restrict staff access to personal data on a need-to-know basis, and hold data with providers who maintain recognised security standards. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach occurs that puts your rights at risk, we will notify you and the UAE Data Office as the law requires.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we will post the updated policy here with a new date, and notify registered customers by email.

Card details and payment information

We do not store your credit or debit card details. Card data is entered directly with our payment gateway and never reaches our servers.

Credit and debit card details and personally identifiable information are not stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third party. Your card details are not passed to third parties.

Security, and what we cannot promise

We take appropriate steps to protect your data, through a range of hardware and software measures. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any information that is disclosed online, and no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Links to other websites

We are not responsible for the privacy policies of websites we link to. If you provide information to a third party through such a link, different rules about the collection and use of your personal information may apply. Please contact those organisations directly with any questions about how they use the information they collect.

Updates to these policies

These website policies and our terms and conditions may be changed or updated from time to time to meet requirements and standards. We encourage you to visit these pages regularly so you are aware of any changes. Modifications take effect on the day they are posted.
