Short answer: in October 2026 you can buy a certified pre-owned business laptop in the UAE from AED 749. At that price the honest choice is an ex-corporate Dell Latitude or HP EliteBook with a Core i5, an SSD and a battery tested at 80% health or better — not a new budget laptop with a slow processor and a plastic body.
Why a used business laptop beats a new budget laptop at the same price
A new laptop at AED 900 in the UAE is almost always an entry-level machine: Celeron or low-end Core i3, 4–8GB RAM, often eMMC storage instead of a proper SSD, and a chassis built to a price. A three-to-five year old business laptop at the same money was originally a AED 4,000–6,000 machine built for daily corporate use: magnesium or aluminium body, spill-resistant keyboard, better screen hinge, and a processor that still handles Excel, Teams, Chrome with thirty tabs and Zoom without complaining.
The catch with used laptops is not the hardware. It is not knowing what you are buying. That is the part we fixed: every unit on NewAsNew passes a 50-point quality check before it is listed, the battery health is measured and recorded per unit, and it ships with a 12-month NewAsNew Assured warranty.

Which one should you actually pick?
If you want the cheapest machine that still feels solid: Latitude 5570 or 5580, AED 749
A 15.6-inch screen, a full-size keyboard with a number pad, and enough ports that you will not need a dongle for a monitor or a wired network. Good for a home desk, a shop counter or a reception machine.
If you carry it every day: Latitude 7470 or 7480, from AED 749
Dell’s 7000 series is the thin-and-light line. A 14-inch body, lighter in a bag, and built for people who travel between offices. The trade-off against the 5000 series is a smaller screen and fewer ports.
If you want the newest chip under AED 1,000: Latitude 5400, 5490, 5590 or 7400, AED 899–999
These run 8th-generation Core i5 processors. In practical terms that means better battery life than the 6th and 7th generation machines and more headroom when you keep a lot of browser tabs, a video call and a spreadsheet open together. If your budget stretches, this is where the money is best spent.

Frequently asked questions
Is a six-year-old laptop still usable in 2026?
For office work, yes. A 6th-generation Core i5 with 8GB of RAM and an SSD runs Windows 11-era office software, browsers and video calls fine. It is not the right machine for video editing, 3D work or modern gaming — for that, look at our laptops with dedicated graphics.
Will the battery need replacing soon?
Every unit we list is tested at 80% battery health or better, and the measured figure is recorded for that unit. Batteries are consumable, so they are not covered by the warranty — that is stated plainly rather than hidden in the small print.
Do you deliver outside Dubai?
Yes, free across all seven emirates. Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman are usually next working day; other emirates take 1–3 working days.
Can I pay secure online payment?
No. Orders are prepaid online. That keeps our costs down, and the saving is in the price you see.
What if the laptop is faulty when it arrives?
Tell us and we collect it. Faulty or not-as-described items are covered beyond the 14-day window under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on consumer protection.
Still not sure which one?
Send us a message on WhatsApp at +971 56 377 7421 with what you use the laptop for, and we will tell you which unit in stock fits — including when the honest answer is to spend a little more, or a little less.
